Summer band is a great way to get a jump start on learning your instrument. While this camp is not mandatory, students who attend camp get small group instruction on their instrument that is very valuable.
If you are unable to attend the camp, you should still sign up for band! Each year, there are students who do not attend camp and still become good musicians. When students return for the regular school year, we will make sure that those students who did not attend learn how to play their instrument. At the beginning of the year, we focus on the building blocks of playing their instrument which would get these students up to speed.
